In case the software info from my phone can be useful to find my model number, my HTC One comes out of the box with the following software: Android 4.1.2, HTC Sense 5.0 and Software number: 1.29.401.17. The HTC SDK API level is 5.12. The device serial number is FA36PWxxxxxx.
OK, so i found a site where i can simply enter my full serial number and it gives me the factory location for my device as well as the date manufactured.

Last week, i finally got myself a new HTC One Stealth Black, but then i noticed some scuffing on the edges and decided to return it for a new one. The problem is that i now have an exchanged HTC One Stealth Black, but since i went through some sort of customer return programme, the shop where i bought it (just a regular shop, not an HTC official reseller) gave me another HTC One Black's box, so the IMEI on the phone and on the box doesn't match. I want to know if there is any way i can find my model number for my new phone, since i only know the IMEI from the phone itself. The reason why i want to find the model number is to know whether i got the 801n (with LTE) or the 801e (without LTE).In case the software info from my phone can be useful to find my model number, my HTC One comes out of the box with the following software: Android 4.1.2, HTC Sense 5.0 and Software number: 1.29.401.17. If you just want to know if it's LTE or not, just reboot into bootloader (POWER + VOL DOWN) the second line will say:
M7_UL = LTE
or
M7_U = no LTE

Thanks to all who replied.
I used the bootloader method - no LTE for me. I got the UKR model. I don't have LTE in my country but i might have used LTE when travelling abroad. Anyway, it's no deal-breaker. I love my HTC One Stealth Black.
