it seems I can build and buy a new truck for just a couple thousand $so I more-would not buy a 3-4 year old truck for the price they are looking for-if they can get that price more power to them

Excellent value! A five years old Tacoma and only 13,400 miles!!! Looked almost like new!!! Inside and out was nearly flawless!!! Definitely the 4x4 truck I had been looking for!!! I found it here on CarGurus!

The Toyota Tacoma TRD off road model is the best in its class. It's a little more expensive than other models in its class but it's definitely worth it. The performance, looks, interior features and so on are just incomparable. I've owned this truck for 10 days and have had multiple offers for it already. It was parked beside a new Chevrolet Colorado and new Ford Ranger last weekend and I hate to tell the owners but it made them look really bad. Toyota Rules in all aspects. It's not just my opinion it's been the worlds opinion for years.
