I did it in front of my family. It was awfull, because it was from a box full of naked products. A perfumed peanut it was.

one time i left the box and packing peanuts in a cupboard for a really long time and found bugs in the box some time after 🤮i always suspected that the packing peanuts attracted those bugs

The more horrifying truth is that the bugs probably came from the packing peanuts! All flour, starch, dry goods ect have eggs in them just waiting for the best conditions to hatch, but we eat those things faster than that could happen. Thats why I wouldn't really recommend eating the packing peanuts even though they are made from edible things. The factory they make them probably isnt kept to the same standards as food factories so there's no limit to cross contamination and how many bugs are crawling around in there!

Hi there! Lush NA employee here! Our packing peanuts are 100% edible and we even eat them in store, too! They totally taste like an unflavored floral Cheeto. Not bad! They are also safe for pets, as well :)

I wouldn't recommend giving them to Pets intentionally. We use them at my place of work and some rats broke in and ate them. Let's just say it gave them very upset tummies afterwards...

They're made of potato starch, apparently! Nothing dangerous, might taste vaguely soapy if you get products on them.
